Cosy Home 5 minute walk to Monkbar and Bar Walls! A cute 2 bedroom Victorian property only 5 minutes to the heart of York, home to Europe’s largest gothic cathedral. Located on a row of terraced houses built for the factory workers at the famous Rowntrees chocolate factory (now Nestle). My house is in the heart of York. Within a 5 minute walk you can reach a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. I recommend walking in via Monkgate and then Goodramgate. Also take a walk along the York Bar Walls to explore the city from another perspective.Walking is the best way to get around the city. (York city centre is mainly pedestrianised.) If you are looking to take a day trip out of York, catch the Coastliner bus from York Station to either visit Leeds, Malton or the East Yorkshire Coast.
